The kids and I left for church this past Sunday morning. We were definitely in that Sunday morning rat race, doing everything we could to make it out the door and in the van on time! Rush, sling, grab, and run is what it always seems like when trying to get to church with 3 kids on Sunday mornings.
We made it to church on time and of course we had the best time. The kids all went to their classes and I got my big weekly cup filling session. Attending church services is always high on my to do list. I choose to go to church, I do not feel obligated. I choose to go because it sets my week up right. By right, I mean it sets me up with the right guidance, mentality, and tools to get through the week. I love that overwhelming feeling of God’s presence, the bursting love, the fellowship, and the morals it is instilling in our children.
After the church service we were ready to head back home—starved to death. When we got home we walked in the door to find Daddy (my husband, Jake) had went on his own adventure that morning. He had went to Lowe’s Hardware, his most favorite store of all time.
**Side note—I would love nothing more for Jake to share in my love of going to church on Sunday, but I’ve learned through 9 years of marriage that just is not his “thing”. Read more on that here.**
Earlier that week, our vacuum cleaner of 5 years bit the dust. It had been a wonderful vacuum cleaner, that dedicated 5 long years of doing two a days cleanings of the toughest messes. With three kids our floors are vacuumed once sometime twice daily. You total that up over 5 years and that is a lot of vacuuming! Not to mention the frequent car cleaning sessions.
I had come home from church to find that Jake had made a surprise trip to Lowe’s and purchased a new vacuum. He had also tidied up our “get to church on time” tornado of a disaster we left behind in the hustle! Double score for Jake that morning! Now, Jake tried to tell me what an awesome buy he had secured that morning, but I really didn’t grasp it. I was thinking, “Yes I know it will be a great vacuum, but I am way more stoked at your awesome gesture of surprising me with a clean house and new vacuum—rather than the awesomeness of the vacuum.” Well, let me just say, this surprise just keeps getting better. My overly joyed status was multiplied 100 times over when I actually used the new vacuum. IT IS THE BOMB!!!!
The next day when i fired it up to tackle our after dinner mess, I was literally picking my jaw up off the floor. I was instantly in LOVE with this vacuum and kept falling more and more in love with through my nightly vacuuming session. Here is why:
- get redirected here It is VERY light weight!
My old vacuum by no means weighed a ton, but it was heavy-ish and pretty hard to maneuver around. I was always a little “spent” after using it—tired arms and an achy back. Not this one! It felt like a feather and floated across the carpet with ease. It was easy to get it into hard places. I was not tired or achy in the least bit when I was finished.
- Buy Fildena with paypal It worked wonderfully!
It may be light weight but it has heavy duty vacuuming power. I told my husband after the first use that I felt like our carpet had never been more clean from vacuuming alone.
- It has a Febreze filter!
This vacuum not only picks up the daily traffic and kid mess from the floor and couch, it also shoots out a pleasant scent! Good smells are a must for me, so this little feature has me over the moon.
- It has a EASY empty feature.
There is no bending over to empty out the vacuum or messy, stinky bags to deal with. You simply push a button, walk the light weight canister over to your waste basket, release the trap with another simple button push, and VOILA! The canister is empty and ready to be snapped back into place with ease. My old vacuum was complicated when it came to this. There were multiple canisters and different multi-pieced filters. They were a pain to take out and put back in. Plus it was just way too many pieces to deal with and keep up with.
- It stores well!
This one is more compact that our last vacuum. It fits very easily into our storage closet. No one has room to store a big and bulky vacuum.
Little did my husband know he was totally gifting us the gift that keeps on giving. I am SO in love with this vacuum. It makes vacuuming a breeze and a pleasure with the nice fragrance it deposits. Is it not hilarious the things that can bring about so much joy?!? Thank you Jake for your surprise Lowe’s Hardware trip and thank you Bissel for your awesome and affordable vacuum.
